Hi all
I am going to be joining theses guys for their exhibition in North London. A really cool idea!
An opportunity for artists to exhibit their work – no matter what their background alongside established artists and designers – names to follow!
Who can enter
Anyone -Painters, Illustrators, Photographers, Multimedia artists, Sculptors
Whats the concept.
100 pieces of art each 1 foot square to be exhibited in a 10×10 grid at a gallery in North London. The layout will be displayed on the website – you simply book a square pay the 10 pound entry fee and send a 1000 pixel square image of your work by email – as soon as we receive the image we put it on the website. This means if you want to you can react to other artists work by placing your work alongside. Then when all squares are booked we take all the original pieces of work and display them in a gallery.
What size can my work be.
All submitted work must be exactly 1ft square (or 30.48cm for the metrics) and although it can be 3 dimensional the depth must be no more than 4 inches ( that’s 10.16cm). The artwork can be on any ground and in any medium. There will be a grid constructed to hold work for the exhibition so your work must be 1ft square and not irregular in shape.
When and Where is the exhibition.
The exhibition will be at the Boleyn’s Boys Club, 68 Boleyn Road, London N16 8JG with a launch party on the opening night with DJ’s ‘our friends eclectic’ and Bar. You will be responsible for delivering your artwork to the venue and dates will be anounced well in advance when the 100sqft website board is full. If its successful we’ll repeat the process and hopefully get more press attention. If you are a new artist looking to be discovered this good be a good kick start to your career.
